ThreatPress

We are excited to announce that ThreatPress, the WordPress security company behind the popular WordPress vulnerability database is joining the WebARX family.

WebARX is a cybersecurity company that helps web developers to identify security vulnerabilities within components such as plugins, themes, and WordPress core – patch them automatically and provide tools to keep websites more secure.

In 2020, code reviews and penetration testing services became a major part of WebARX services. Having the expertise that ThreatPress has accumulated over the years will be providing significant value for all our customers. It will open new business opportunities to make the WordPress ecosystem more secure.

“I’m glad that we found such a good match. The personal connection, values, and vision we share made adding ThreatPress as part of WebARX, a smooth process. I want to thank our team and Darius for all the hard work and I’m truly excited for what the future holds.”

Oliver Sild, CEO & Founder of WebARX

ThreatPress has served WordPress plugin developers with code review and penetration testing services since 2015. They have helped an uncountable amount of website owners to harden their WordPress websites and improve their cybersecurity posture online.

“I am delighted that ThreatPress will gain new momentum thanks to WebARX security. I believe all the work done by ThreatPress will be multiplied and will create even more added value for the WordPress community. I hope that this acquisition will take WebARX services to the next higher level setting a new market standard. I am looking forward to seeing how far WebARX will go in 2021.”
