Do you have what it takes to become a conversion rate optimization (CRO) specialist at WebARX?

WebARX is a web security company with a focus on open-source web application components, such as plugins, dependencies, and libraries.

1) SaaS-based website security platform
2) Bug hunting platform for open-source dependencies.

Our mission is to secure the web by making security available and easy to use for all web professionals. 

We are looking for a conversion rate optimization specialist, who is comfortable with tasks like copywriting, data analytics, digital analytics, and testing.

You should be a critical thinker, able to articulate exactly what isn’t working and what could be better and why. You should be able to analyze how WebARX visitors are using our site, what problems or bottlenecks they face, and how to overcome these issues to enable successful conversions.

Conversion rate optimization is, at its core, the study of what people want. Therefore we believe, it is very important for a CRO to have people skills and empathy, especially when talking to our customers and understanding what they’re saying.

Some of the day to day tasks of a CRO at WebARX:

  • Manage key conversion points in the marketing funnel.
  • Manage, create, and optimize landing pages, website CTAs, and lead-generating forms.
  • A/B test and continually measure the performance of CTAs.
  • Collaborate with the person responsible for blogging, email, social media, in order to optimize each conversion path.
  • Optimize our marketing conversion paths.
  • Increase conversion rates and drive marketing-qualified leads.
  • Optimize the lead-to-customer conversion rate.
  • Increase funnel marketing efficiencies.
  • Participate in developing and planning marketing strategies and campaigns with the team.

Requirements for the conversion rate optimization specialist:

  • Deep personal motivation to make the web a safer place for everyone.
  • Past experience with web analytics, A/B testing, and inbound marketing tactics.
  • Good time-management skills, good self-motivator.
  • Fluent English in both speaking and writing.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Critical-thinker and problem-solver.

Would be helpful:

  • Basic coding skills in Javascript, JQuery, HTML, and CSS come in handy.
  • Experience working with WordPress.
