The WordPress security meetup is for anyone who is working with WordPress, is interested in web security or is just a beginner in the field.
We absolutely love meet-ups. It’s an amazing way to learn about new things, meet with new people, build a genuine relationship and just get out there and chat with like-minded people.
On the 20-22 June, there will be a WordCamp happening in Berlin and what a better place and time to do a WordPress security meetup then right there at that time. In addition to that, security plays an immense role in working with WordPress so we will invite you to join us in discussions and networking.
The venue is a 20-minute walk from the main event place and the place is called Prachtwerk Berlin. You can see the map below.
If you want to succeed you need to network. Networking is an important way to get yourself out there, meet similar people, discuss problems and solutions and interact with awesome people who maybe have the same problems as you do.
We have connected a great mix of three things on this meet-up.
We will start the meet-up with a quick 20-minute panel. There will be panellists covering the three main sides of WordPress security – hosting, development and web security.
At the time of the panel, everyone will be able to write down questions for the panellists that will be answered later at the Q&A time. We will use Slido for the Q&A.
To ask questions on the event go to slido.com and enter the code 2368.
After the Q&A we will relax, network, chat, mingle, have some more beers and get to know each other.
To attend the WordPress security meetup you should click attend on the Facebook event so we’ll know how much food and drinks to prepare.
